Influenced by her grandmother, Susan began as a serious watercolourist in 1994. It was in also in 1994 when she began one of many studies with Mrs. Pat Green in Texas.

"Sketching has always been a part of my life. Watercolour pushed me over the edge. Colours, nature & life influence me to capture the beauty that surrounds us." In recent years Susan has taught adults beginners watercolour. One of her students has been quoted as saying, "it's been a transformation & the opening of a bright new doorway". Susan is a versatile artist who uses watercolour, oil, pencil & pastel. She is pleased to accept commissions with portrait photos in pencil sketch or watercolour landscapes & houses.
