Mostly self taught, art has been in my life since childhood.
Along with my eight brothers and sisters I grew up in a small white house surrounded by willow trees at the end of a road in Merritton, St Catharines.
It was during a visit to Texas in 1994 with my cousin Pat Green another talented artist, who not only influenced me but she encouraged me to pick up the brush.
Over these years there have been substantial changes in my artistic vision and the mediums in which I work. My work includes watercolours, pastels, acrylic and oil. Each presents its own delightful qualities and texture that stretches my learning with each effort.
I travel to northern Ontario and down the side roads of Niagara for inspiration.
As an artist I aspire to capture the uniqueness of
each particular subject.
My paintings can be found in both private and
corporate collections in Canada, England and the
USA.
